Eleonore Pourriat

Eléonore Pourriat is a French screenwriter, actress and director. She studied drama as well as English literature and translation in Paris. In 2010, she directed her first short film, Oppressed Majority, which got a huge buzz on Youtube where it was seen more than 14 million times throughout the world. She has been working for 15 years with the director Benoit Cohen. 5 feature films (produced by Shadows Films) and a TV show for Canal+ (produced by Chic Films and Shadows Films) were born from the duo : Les acteurs anonymes (Actors Anonymous), Nos enfants chéris (Our Precious Children) and Nos Enfants Chéris La série (season 1&2), Qui m’aime me suive (If You Love Me, Follow Me), Les Violette and Tu seras un homme (You’ll Be A Man) that won many awards in American indie film festivals. Eleonore moved to New York City in 2014. Her first experience as an actress in the United States was with Louis CK on his show Louie. She is now preparing her first feature film as a director.
