Morgane Dubief

After studying International Public Law and Copyright Law in France and Germany, Morgane attended the Atelier Ludwigsburg-Paris, which is a one-year programme in partnership with La Fémis in Paris (France), the Filmakademie Baden-Württemberg (Germany) and the National Film and Television School in London (UK). She then worked with two producers specialized in international coproductions who had recently won the Golden Camera at the Cannes Film Festival with Or (My Treasure) directed by Keren Yedaya.

In 2010, pursuing her goal to help producers to the best of her abilities, Morgane became an Entertainment lawyer specialized in the film business (copyright law, financing, international coproductions agreements, international sales, domestic distribution, etc.) in two prestigious law firms (Bitoun and Taylor Wessing). She transitioned from the law firm environment to an in-house position when she took over the role of Head of Legal Affairs at Fremantle Media France for eight months before moving to New York in 2016. From New York, Morgane’s main focus is to use her knowledge of the European film industry to promote and foster collaborations between the French and North American entertainment players at every level.
