About Us

French In Motion is a New-York based not-for-profit organization, created in May 2016, that reunites Franco-American professionals in movie, TV and new media industries. All occupations in creation, production, distribution are represented : screenwriters, directors, producers, crews, set and costume designers, post-prod teams, distributors, broadcasters, institutionals, etc…

Support international projects initiated by or including French talents, and encourage American participation. Help projects take form by providing information on differences in methodology, laws and economic contexts of the different countries. (Monthly meetings and workshops in New York, centered on guest speakers and case studies)

Build bridges between professionals in France and North America. Maintain a resource on both sides of the Atlantic that enables contact and exchange (we develop partnerships with festivals and professional markets. We launch call for scripts and present best scenarios and projects to decision makers)

Promote the skills of French creative and technical talents among American professionals. Show how the blend of specific contributions from both countries can result in new, original and authentic works.
