President

Film editorial/business consultant, producer; sales agent, Laetitia worked in Paris and San Francisco and created GDMC (Giansily-Doyle Media Consulting LLC.) in 2012 after moving to Washington DC where she launched the DC chapter of FIM in 2017.

She represents the Paris-based international distributor Terranoa (Gedeon Media Group) while also co-producing a docu-series with Talweg; Room 608 for Arte Creative, and developing different projects.

Caroline Maréchal
VICE PRESIDENT

Caroline is an LA-based French Publicity and Public Relations Specialist with over 20+ years of experience in the film and television industries.
Before her recent move to the U.S., she was one of the Publicity Managers at WARNER BROS. PICTURES for 15 years after spending nearly a decade at UNIVERSAL PICTURES VIDEO and M6.

Cynthia Kane
Treasurer

Cynthia Kane is an award-winning writer and producer with a major interest in helping tell global stories for a wide audience. She has worked at Showtime Networks, Sundance Channel, ITVS, Al Jazeera, Women Make Movies, and independently as a producer and executive producer.

GENERAL SECRETARY

Jean-Aimé is a filmmaker, producer, and editor, based in New York. He started his career telling stories for media and luxury brands. After 10 years he has now put his beliefs at the center of his work and created a new production company giving them life and motion.

Head of LA Chapter

Sacha is a composer, orchestrator, and conductor, founder and president of 1908 Scoring Studios, based in LA. His credits include a variety of genres from indies to major studio films, TV series, global ad campaigns, and symphonic concerts.


Sasha G. Behar
COMMUNITY MANAGER

Sasha is a French-American production assistant and screenwriter. Born and raised in Paris, she moved to New York City after graduating from the Sorbonne.

stéphanie Valloatto
Head of NY CHAPTER & USFR

Stéphanie is a French screenwriter and film director, based in New York City. She has written and directed a dozen documentaries for TV. Her first feature length documentary “Cartoonists foot soldiers of democracy” has been selected at Cannes Film Festival, was nominated for the César Awards, and received the Henri Langlois Award for Best Documentary.

Gil Tanghe-Purkey

Gil is currently the Coordinator of the Washington DC International Film Festival. Born and raised in France, she has studied in France, Malta, and the United States, graduating with a Master’s Degree in International Communications and Film. Gil began her career as an assistant programmer with the Les Arcs Film Festival.

Emanuel is a producer and film director based in Washington, DC. He leads a practice with extensive experience in cinema, advertisement, and journalism. Driven by his multicultural education, Emanuel embraces diversity as a prism through which he explores and shares thought-provoking narratives.

Juliette Bouquerel

Juliette Bouquerel is an LA-based French American creative producer with over two decades of experience creating major multimedia productions for major brands and international institutions. She is organizing the edition of Films On The Green Festival in LA and producing a documentary Nature Is My Teacher.

Danielle Moussali

Based in Washington DC since 2017, Danielle has over 20 years of experience as an executive producer in the advertising industry in Lebanon, working on projects across the Middle East and North Africa. Today she is acting as an Artistic Director/Curator and works on spreading middle eastern art and culture on the US east coast.

NATHALIE PERUS
FOUNDER

Nathalie is managing director and producer at Atlantique Productions, a leading independent television production company specializing in high quality TV drama such as Borgia, The Eddy, Jour Polaire, Hierro, Eden...Atlantique Productions is based in Paris and part of Mediawan Studios. Nathalie lived six years in New York City where she founded French In Motion to facilitate co-productions between France and the US. Prior to that she's been a TV executive at Canal+ Group and Fox International Channels, and worked as a creative producer, TV writer and development executive for various production companies such as EuropaCorp TV, Son & Lumière, Alef One and Dynamic Television.

Benoit COHEN
Co-Founder

Born in 1969, Benoit is a French producer, filmmaker and writer. After studying architecture in Paris and filmmaking at New York University, he directed six feature films, several documentaries, and TV Series, and wrote two books translated in multiple languages.

Eléonore POURRIAT
Co-Founder

Eléonore is a French screenwriter, actress and director who lives in New York. Her short film, Oppressed Majority and her feature film, I'm Not an Easy Man (Netflix Original), are international hits. She just published her first novel, Histoire d’Adrián Silencio.
