Double Exposure is the United States’ first and only film festival dedicated to investigative reporting on film. It pairs four days of film screenings with a professional symposium that brings together watchdog journalists and filmmakers venturing into investigative storytelling.

In a time when trust in media is declining, the swirl of false narratives on social media obscure objective fact, and AI redefines authorship, Investigative Journalism matters more than ever.  And creative documentaries offer a powerful experience of in-depth storytelling. 

At DX Fest highly curated screenings and symposia offer filmmakers and journalists space to explore the challenges and opportunities they face, together.
