The past year inflicted unprecedented obstacles to the television and film industry, forcing producers and content creators to find new ways to craft projects under unpredictable conditions. And while the situation is not yet stabilized, the uplifting news is that content is being made, and see.

Join us to hear from broadcasters and producers across genres who will reveal how they managed to create a wide range of programming during the pandemic -- from drama series sets to historical docu-series -- while also examining how the limitations imposed by the situation may be changing what is being produced and how it’s being made -- for the better.

Tom Jennings is a Peabody and Emmy award-winning documentary filmmaker and journalist. He has written, produced and directed more than 400 hours of programming on topics including politics, religion, history, crime, sports, mystery and travel. He has produced films all around the globe, always looking for new ways to tell stories that are informative and entertaining. Jennings’ award-nominated and winning body of work includes Smithsonian Channel’s MLK: The Assassination Tapes (George Foster Peabody Award); National Geographic’s Challenger Disaster: Lost Tapes (Emmy Award winner and Royal Television Society nominee) and National Geographic’s The Lost JFK Tapes (Emmy Award nominee).

In 2018, Anne launched the TV production department of the prestigious French based group UGC. For the last 3 years, she has been the Development and Production Executive in charge of the group's productions. "Jacqueline Sauvage, c'était lui ou moi" directed by Yves Rénier (with Muriel Robin and Olivier Marchal) and "Le Premier Oublié" directed by Christophe Lamotte (with Matt Pokora and Muriel Robin) were her first productions. They reached historic audience records on TF1 with 9 and 8 million viewers. Currently, Anne is developing TV series that will soon be broadcast on France Télévisions, ARTE and TF1.
