Every month, join us for a special screening in a new location. 

Immerse yourself in the original language with English subtitles, and prepare to be swept away by stories ranging from heart-wrenching dramas to thought-provoking documentaries. 

But the movie night doesn't end with the credits! 

We want to create a vibrant community for French film enthusiasts and cinephiles alike.  That's why each screening will be followed by an engaging exchange, like a Q&A session or insightful discussion.  It's the perfect opportunity to share your thoughts, connect with fellow movie lovers, and deepen your appreciation for French cinema.

This exceptional documentary chronicles the inspiring journey of French basketball star Rudy Gobert, from his humble beginnings to his rise to NBA stardom.  

We are extremely lucky to have with us Rudy Gobert himself, and coming especially from France the film's producer, Sébastien Onomo, and director, Jonathan Bensimhon. 

The discussion will be moderated by CBSNews correspondent Christina Ruffini Anchor.

Sébastien Onomo - Producer
With over a decade of experience in cinema and audiovisual production, Sébastien Onomo is an award-winning French producer. He has contributed to numerous television projects and has been a valuable resource for academic programs at institutions such as Paris 3, Paris 7, INA, FEMIS, and Les Gobelins. Additionally, he is the founder of the Panafrican Animation Workshop, showcasing his commitment to the industry's growth.

Jonathan Bensimhon - Director
Jon deeply immersed in Hip-Hop culture since his youth and honed his skills in the music video industry with major labels and independent record companies. Recognized for two ambitious short films, he pivoted towards writing and filmmaking under the mentorship of Aïcha Belaïdi. In addition to his achievements, Jonathan took on multiple shoots for short comedic formats for Canal+, Dailymotion, Blackpills, and Juste pour Rire. His long-term collaboration with comedians Yassine Belattar and Thomas Barbazan resulted in over 200 videos with over 20 million views on social networks. Currently filming a documentary on former footballer Djibril Cissé and developing feature films and series, Jonathan showcases a commitment to independence and continuous evolution in the urban, engaged, and multicultural sphere of his influences.

Rudy Gobert
Rudy Gobert is a renowned professional basketball player, excelling as the primary center for the Minnesota Timberwolves in the NBA and the French National Team. Awarded NBA Defensive Player of the Year in 2018, 2019, and 2021, he continues to make significant contributions to the sport. Selected for the NBA All-Star Game for the third consecutive time in February 2022, Rudy's journey includes nine years with the Utah Jazz before joining the Timberwolves in July 2022. His achievements extend to international success, with notable Bronze medals at the 2014 World Championships and the 2019 World Cup. In Tokyo, he earned a silver medal with the French national team, with aspirations for Olympic gold in Paris.
